Creative costume and makeup ideas for Halloween {Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra portrait photographer}
So let me begin with this - last year was actually the first time ever I dressed up for Halloween (it’s just not a big deal in my home country and I never got used to it over here)- and I only did it because my amazing friend decided to throw this over the top party for Halloween and not wearing a costume wasn’t an option unless I wanted to sit home that night! Haha! However that is when I got a taste of how grande her party really is and I knew to better prepare myself this year!
After getting an amazing feedback on my costume as well as makeup I decided I should share this with all of you - Oh and no shame in my game showing off myself in the costume - it really felt good to get out for a fun night with friends and look so cool at the same time!
So about a month ago I started looking my outfit and had no clue what I want to do. After looking around in Amazon for a couple of days in a row this skeleton costume (scroll down for the link) caught my eye. It was different than other ones because the “paint dripping down” kind of look. I really loved the artsy feel and purchased it. I loved that it was so affordable as well - just $26.99! Of course I wasn’t sure if it actually looks that good in person but once it arrived I was so surprised that it fitted perfectly (mine is size Small)!
And now to the makeup - I wanted it to go with the costume and searched for some ideas in Pinterest. After seeing a few images I liked I told my amazing makeup artist - Bobbi from Paulina Perez Makeup Artistry what I wanted and she totally understood my vision for that! And the outcome was absolutely stunning, don’t you think?!
Hair - well I kinda did it myself. Nothing fancy but I feel like it worked for this look so I can 100% show off this creative makeup!
