Engagement session in Hanna Park | Jade + James {Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra engagement photographer}
Jade + James are such a sweet couple and I loved taking their engagement photos in Hanna Park. The weather wasn’t too promising in the beginning and we actually got to use my see through wedding umbrella for the first time and these images came out super cute! And just like magic the rain stopped 5min into the session and they got to enjoy a private sunset at the beach…so lovely!
They met 6 years ago and now are happily engaged! Here’s what Jade said about their amazing proposal:
“We were in Switzerland for vacation. Overlooking Lake Lucerne and the Swiss Alps, he nonchalantly asked me if I wanted to get married. I answered with a "sure, one day." In his again nonchalant fashion, he did not get down on one knee but looked at me and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes and asked where the ring was. Since we were sitting on the water, which I didn't understand why he was being reluctant about it in the beginning, he pulls the ring out of his pocket carefully and puts in on my finger.”
