Wedding in Casa Marina Hotel | Maria + Randall {Jacksonville, FL wedding photographer}

I first met Maria and Randall at their engagement photoshoot last fall in Ponte Vedra Beach (You can read the blog about it over HERE). It was also the first time I met Randall’s daughter Jillian and their sweet little cavapoo Rosie too. The whole family was so easy going and fun to work with that the engagement session flew by. They had dressed so stylishly and the engagement photos turned out picture perfect, it made me even more excited to photograph their wedding at Casa Marina hotel.

Casa Marina Hotel is already an impeccably designed venue set against the sandy shoreline of the Atlantic. I couldn’t wait to see how Maria would style her wedding. The wedding day came and it was amazing. Maria opted for a boho style theme that fit her beachy wedding perfectly. The color scheme, decor, cake and floral arrangements were absolutely beautiful.

The bridesmaids were dressed in wine, berry and blush to perfectly compliment the groomsmen's tailored blue suits. Small details like flower crowns and lace accents carried out the boho theme as well. There were also many personal touches throughout the wedding from the glass window seating arrangement and framed photographs of the couple throughout the venue to Randall’s fisherman inspired groom's cake. Even Rosie, the cavapoo was a part of the big day as Jillian carried her down the aisle in lieu of a flower basket.

It was evident that Maria and Randall were surrounded by people who loved them on their big day. As I listened to family and friends toasts the happy couple, I heard them speak about how long they had all waited for this day, how everyone had felt like family long before the vows were spoken, and how much love the couple had for one another. More than a few tears were shed, and many laughs were had by the time speeches were concluded.
